Computeam has been at the forefront of designing, supplying and installing cutting-edge networks in schools since our inception in 1998 where we had nationwide contracts across the country to carry out the very first networked computers in school as part of the NGFL project.

Fast forward over 25 years, and while the technology and usability have developed and improved exponentially, it still requires well-designed and well-specified services, expertly implemented by highly skilled technical consultants. How do Computeam
provide this service?

It all starts with an initial consultation. One of our team will work with the school or trust to understand your current needs, predict future growth needs, and your device expansion plans.

Once the discovery meeting is complete, we can begin to model the network, producing predictive heatmap analysis documents to ensure full wireless coverage. We then produce a network topology diagram and engage one of our trusted cabling infrastructure partners to assess the current LAN cabling and produce a costed plan for any upgrades needed. Once all of the information is collated, and following involvement from the tier 1 vendor of choice on the project, we will present a complete and comprehensive costed proposal.

Once the order is placed, your project will be passed to one of our dedicated project managers who will liaise with all parties to ensure a smooth deployment and successful handover to the trust or school upon completion with training always included.
