Safer Internet Day 2024 Webinar - Safer Searching for Young People
As part of Safer Internet Day 2024, Computeam and Learning Locker are delighted to invite educators, school leaders, and MAT leaders to our interactive webinar from 3:45 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. GMT on 6th February 2024, where we will be looking into the ways that Microsoft Technology Tools can be used to facilitate safer online searching experiences for young people.
What is Safer Internet Day?
Safer Internet Day, celebrated every February, serves as a global reminder of the importance of safe and positive digital interactions for children and young people. It's a day that reinvigorates the global conversation surrounding responsible, respectful, and creative technology usage.
Coordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre, Safer Internet Day unites over a hundred countries under the joint Insafe/INHOPE network, with support from the European Commission and national Safer Internet Centres across Europe. Its key mission is to ensure that young people have access to a safe and wholesome online environment, regardless of how they engage with these fundamental digital tools.
In this Microsoft accredited course, we will take a deep dive into Microsoft Search Coach as not only a digital literacy tool, but one which supports safer searching to keep children safe in education.
